Hey everyone! I have been soooo behind lately on the blog already but its because we have had company. Gabe's Godmommy and her daughters have been here since the end of June and will be leaving on Monday! We have had a wonderful time with all of them and will miss them dearly. Connor turned 6 of July 4th. On the 3rd we went to a patriotic concert/firework show and the boys had an awesome time! Gabe liked the fireworks and wasnt scared of them at all. On the 4th we had a big birthday bash with pool party and cookout. Fireworks at the end. Connor got lots of Toy Story 3 stuff and also a new bike! He had a great time!
We also went to Six Flags recently. Gabe stayed with his Godmommy. Connor and Nick loved all the Thomas the train Stuff and also got to ride Thomas the Train and that was very special and they LOVED it! It was just a wonderful family time day!
I have some great news about Gabe also. He is catching up to all the other babies his age. During these past couple of weeks, he has started doing all kinds of things that he didnt do before:
* He has started rolling over both ways
* He is doing wonderful with baby foods and was able to start eating stage 2 foods
* He is starting to play with his baby toys and is getting better with his hand/mouth coordination
* He is also beginning to crawl! He can scoot a little bit and he can get up on all 4's and rocks back and forth.
Its soooo cute and I am one proud Mama!
