School Days 2012-2013

Well everyone another summer has went by and another school year has began. Connor's is now my big 3rd Grader. His teacher is Mrs. Confer and she seems really good and Connor likes her alot. He is enjoying school and was ready to start back. He of course loves reading and says they read alot of Dr. Seuss books in her class which her classroom theme is all Dr. Seuss. His least favorite thing is math, which he likes math but just takes him a lil while to catch on to how to do it. He has his good friend Deana in his class and is happy about that! My lil man Dominick has started Kindergarten this year. He didnt attend any preschools and never been to daycare so I just knew he was going to cry and miss his mommy, but he got up and was very excited about his 1st day of school and went off into that school house like a big boy! I was thinking to myself that was too easy LOL. When I picked him up, the teacher said about half way through the day he just burst out into tears and crying saying he missed his mommy and he wanted to go home. And almost everyday since then, he will cry when I first drop him off but soon stops after a few minutes and has a good rest of the day. His teachers are Mrs Edge and Mrs Hazel. They seem nice as well. He says his favorite thing is the food and playing, he also loves the songs they sing. He loves music so playing fun songs is right up his ally. When asked what he doesnt like he says when he has to be away from his mommy <3 He says he has lots of friends lol he said so many he cant remember all their names LOL. Cant believe my boy is in Kinder already Well Gabe is of course still at home and he chills out and plays with becca all day while his brothers are at school. And Jack spends his day learing and exploring. Hes so smart and learns more stuff everyday but he also is a messer and loves to get into everything hes not suppose to be in. He also loves to be outside

Maw and Jacks cookout party

Well on August 18th my God mom wanted to throw Mom and Jack a party an cookout at her house so she did. It was a cute lil summer theme with sailboats, anchors, and crabs. When we first got there we went swimming in the pool and had alot of fun especially since Jack loves to swim. Hes such a water baby After swimming Jack got to put on his cute lil birthday shirt that Grandma Donna and Brooklyn picked out for him and we got ready for the party. We had yummy food and he loved eating some homemade chilli and baked beans After we ate dinner, it was time for the presents. Grandma Donna had already given him his presents which was a ton of clothes from outfits, to rompers, pjs, sleepers, onesies, all kinds of new cute stuff from Carters and OshKosh. He got all sizes too from 0/3 months all the way up to 24 months. He also got new sippy cups, binkys, bibs, and lots of the gerber baby and toddler snacks which he loves. He also got a super cute new monogrammed backpack bag and a cute lil straw cup with a J on it too! Thanks so much Aunt Shanan After presents it was time for cake!!!! And HJ definately loved his cake. He went to town on it and ate every last bit of it! We had a super great day! Its always fun spending time with the ones you love <3 HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MOMMY AND HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY MY PRECIOUS LIL PEANUT!!!!

HJ's allergist and nutritionist appointments

So recently HJ had to go to his allergist and I told him that he had still been having trouble with milk products although his scratch test was negative. The allergist assured me that he just has a sensitivity to milk protein still so he decided to send him for a blood test to see if he has a "true" milk allergy. I expected my lil man to scream and cry but he just sat there on my lap and didnt even whine or flinch while having his blood drawn The test came back negative so hes just got a milk protein sensitivity and the good thing about that is he will more than likely outgrow it before long. For now we still have to avoid milk. He also went to the nutritionist recently as well. He was still very under the charts in weight and she was hoping he would have picked up on weight by now. So once he turns 1 he is going to start on 3 very high calorie drinks per day and she wants to see him back in 5-6 weeks. Other than that she said he looks great and was very pleased with his very big appetite :)

Lots of updates and HJ is 11 months old!!!!

Wow so I guess we've been sooo busy with summer that I havent even blogged in over a month. Im sorry. Anyways guess starting with Connor. We had a wonderful wonderful 4th of July. Connor had a great birthday. 1st we went to the lake and went swimming and boating and played at the park. Then we came home had a big cookout and swam here. Then we did the birthday party, he had a Cars 2 cake (again). He got lots of new clothes, a new bike, swim shorts, train table with lots of new trains, lego table with legos. a helmet and elbow and knee pads, and much more. He loved all his new gifts. At Jack's 10 month weigh in, Dr. Gainey wasnt happy with his weight gain as he had only gained 4oz. Since the allergy test to milk came back negative, he thought it was a milk intolerance and said to go ahead and slowly introduce milk into his diet. We did that and very soon after the baby was throwing up and was broke out from head to toe in a really bad rash, the same one that he had while we were breastfeeding as a newborn. The next day we had his appointment with the pediatric GI specialist. She was a very nice dr. and listened to our concerns and had an answer for everything. She said definately looked like milk allergy to her so do not give milk products. When he turns 1 she is putting him on a hypoallergenice special high calorie drink to help him gain weight and hopefully get him back on the charts. She also said he looked very healthy besides his weight but wanted to be 100% sure so she sent him over to greenville childrens hospital to test him for cystic fibrosis. As any mommy would I worried myself over routine tests LOL. We went to the hospital and he had a sweat test done and it wasnt bad at all. HJ got to see a big aquarium with tropical fish and also a fountain. He enjoyed it LOL. The next day I got the results back and they were NEGATIVE!!! I was so happy. So we were done with tests for now and he goes back to the pediatric GI specialist on Sept. 20th. At Jack's 11 month weigh in he had finally hit 15lbs and was 26.5 inches long. I was told hes a very smart and bright lil man. Dr. Gainey agreed with having him put on the hypoallergenic high calorie drink and staying away from all milk products. He is in 0/3 and 3/6 mos clothes, when not in cloth hes in a size 2 diaper, and he is in sizes 2 and some 3 shoes. He now has 8 teeth and is eating stage 3 foods, some table foods, and the gerber toddler meals. He is standing alone now and taking steps. He is almost walking!!! So hard to believe my tiny man is almost walking and turning a year old so soon! He is saying words and pointing at things. He is definately growing too fast for my liking. We have everything ready for both of his parties and I took him last week to have his pictures done. We got them back today and I will be sharing them on here really soon. We registered the big boys for school a couple weeks ago and got all their school supplies. Cant believe my Nick Nick is already starting Kindergarten and Connor is going into the 3rd grade! They are excited and ready for school to start. Also all 4 of the boys went to the dentist. This was Hayden Jack's very 1st trip and his teeth are perfect so are Gabes! Connor didnt need any work this time either. Now Dominick, it was discovered he had 8 cavities and also had an extra tooth in between his baby teeth and adult teeth that you cant see. So that has to come out. Sometime in september he has to be put to sleep to pull out his top front teeth and cut out that extra tooth and to have his cavities repaired :( I feel so bad for my lil man. But he's a tough boy shouldnt be too rough on him! I think thats all for now and Im going to be uploading all the photos really soon :)
