Gabe's birthday, A big scare, Jack is 4 months old, and Merry Christmas

Well everyone we celebrated Gabes Birthday on Saturday December 17th. It was toy story themed. He had so much fun. He loved spending the day with all his family and friends. We had pizza and a toy story cake and icecream. He loved us singing happy birthday to him and when it was time to blow out the candle he wouldnt get too close to blow it out he just kept saying hot lol. He got a big ball pit with a slide attatched. He also got some other neat little toys, he got a big race track ramp things, he got a tonka playset, he got a tractor that lights and makes noise, he got a toy story woody racing car, and more just cant think of everything.

His actual birthday was Tuesday December 20th and i just couldnt believe my baby boy turned 2, it was rainy so we pretty much just spent the day inside. Around 5 pm I was home alone with the boys and I had to feed baby Jack. While feeding him I heard a Huge bang and Gabe screaming, i walked in the kitchen and immediately bursted into tears, Gabe had opened the oven door, climbed on it, and the whole stove fell on top of him and shattered. I just knew he was seriously injured. Got the stove lifted up quickly and got him out and he was just a crying. I called my mom and we rushed off to the emergency room where he was happy and playing and laughing, jumping, and of course climbing on everything he could while we were there. I was so thankful to learn that my lil monkey didnt have a single injury other than a couple of bruises. We definately had someone watching over us that day.

On the 23rd, Hayden Jack turned 4 months old!!! these months just seem to pass by so quickly and I just treasure every tiny moment I have with him as he is my last little one. His 4 month check up and shots are in the morning.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I know we did. On Christmas Eve we spent the day together and played outside and had so much fun! The boys went to a birthday party also and then they came home and we all made sugar cookies for Santa. Then we gathered around and read the story The Night Before Christmas while eating cookies and milk :) The boys were so hyped up about santa coming they didnt want to go to bed. When they woke up the next morning they were so excited to open their gifts and I was just as excited. This was baby Hayden Jack's very 1st Christmas and he was up super early about an hour and a half before he normally gets up. The kids had a blast with all their new stuff. Connor got lots of new cars, a rug for his cars, mater operation game, some more board games, an electric piggy bank, bath stuff and bath toys and games, play dough, new pajamas, new books, and so much more, I cant even think of it all lol. Dominick got a cowboy set, guns, a hunting game that has guns to hunt on the tv, toy story operation game, scooby doo shirt, scooby doo slippers, play dough, bath stuff and bath toys and games, new cars, new shoes, and more. Gabe got the tonka chuck racing truck, a tonka racetrack, a new hat, puzzles, bath stuff and toys and games, play dough, a big and small doodle pro, and more. Jack got a play mat, some soft baby blocks that rattle and make crinkly sounds, a baby cell phone that lights up and plays music, another baby toy that lights up and plays music, a hand teething ring, a stuffed elephant with blanket, lots of new clothes, onesies, and sleepers (including 2 elephant sleepers), a cute little soft elephant rattle, and more. All the boys also got money as well. They have been having a ball with all their new toys and games. After that we had a big family dinner and had lots of family and friends over. They loved Jack dressed in his little santa suit. After that we spent to rest of the day playing with all their new stuff and had so much fun. I hope everyone has had a very Merry Christmas just like we all did!

Happy December

Well everyone December is here! I cant believe it, these months are just flying by. This is the last month of the year!!!!!! Anyway I scored some awesome deals on black friday and cant wait to see my little ones eyes on Christmas Morning. I also attempted to go shopping on Sunday and went to the mall, not too long after we were there, Gabe started vomiting so we had to leave in a hurry and come home. I ended up taking him to the night clinic and they gave him a zofran shot and he has been much better ever since. Tuesday i went out shopping and got some more stuff and a christmas outfit for the baby which i have to return (i got a 0/3 mos) because its a mile too big lol. I also scored a christmas shirt for connor too. Wednesday Connor had his dr apt. about his attention problems in school, thats making him fall pretty far behind. The dr is almost certain its ADD but considering his very poor diet he did alot of blood work and is checking for lots of other possibilites first before diagnosing him with ADD. Last night Dominick started throwing up, but has been better today, so hoping tonight goes well as we have Christmas pictures with Santa in the morning and then Bentleys Birthday party at the bowling alley. So we have had a sick start to December and Im hoping everyone will be healthy for the rest of it!

Happy Thanksgiving and Jack is 3 months old!

HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERYONE!!!!!! Today is Thanksgiving and baby Jack's very 1st thanksgiving. He is dressed so stinkin cute in his little thanksgiving romper. It has a turkey on it that says Thanksgiving Rocks! We had a great time with all our family and Im very thankful for these 4 precious little boy, I am definately BLESSED. Granny gave Jack a little taste of pie on her finger and he kept crying for more lol, he loved it!

Jack turned 3 months old yesterday. He is 9.5 lbs and 22 inches long. They had to switch his formula from the enfamil prosobee for sensitive tummies to the Nutramigen. The soy formula made him very constipated and he wasnt able to poop at all. Nothing we did for him helped him. This new formula is definately helping him out alot. Thinking maybe he will start gaining weight now. He is such a sweet little baby. He is very interactive and smiles, laughs out loud, and coos all the time. He loves having little "conversations" with us. He is drinking about 4 oz of formula every 3-4 hours (he will go 6 plus hours if he's napping good lol) and he goes to bed around 10 pm and sleeps til about 7:30 am. Im very greatful for that. He is still wearing newborn clothes and diapers and a size 0 shoes. He is so precious and Im very glad to have him.

Well thats about all for now, Im off to get ready to go black friday shopping :)

Happy Halloween/ November is Here!!!

Well everyone the kids had a great Halloween, it was filled with lots of trick or treating, games, bounce houses, prizes, hay rides, and best of all CANDY! Connor went as Bumblebee from the transformers. Nick Nick went as Optimus Prime from the Transformers. Gabe was a lion, and seriously he was like the cutest lion ever!!! And this of course was Baby Jack's very 1st Halloween and he was a tiny lil Pumpkin. They all got a ton of candy and were super happy :)

On another note, my baby factory is now officially closed :( I had my surgery for my tubal on Wednesday, I was scared, but honestly it was a super super easy procedure and the thing that was sore the most was my throat (from a breathing tube) lol. Very pleased with it :)

I cant believe November is already here though! It seems since Jack has been here, the months are passing by so quickly :( Not a good thing considering he is my last baby and I dont want him to grow up too quick.

2 Month Update

Jack is 2 months old now. Time is flying by so fast, faster than the others it seems probably because he's my last baby, and I just want to be able to hold and snuggle him forever. He had his 2 month appointment yesterday. Hes pretty small still (average is about 11.5-12.5 lbs) and Jack is 9 lbs and 21 inches long. Thats below the 5th percentile for both height and weight, but my little man is a very healthy little guy, just small :) He is still wearing size newborn clothes and diapers and size 0 in shoes. He definately has his wake/sleep patterns down pat. He is such a happy baby and smiles and coos at me, and it just makes me melt. He is drinking 3-4 oz. every 3-4 hours but will go up to 6+ hours if he is napping well. He goes to sleep around 8, I wake him at 11 pm to give him his last bottle and change him before I go to bed, then he goes right back to sleep and has been sleeping all night! He's been waking around 7 am in the mornings and most mornings after he's changed and fed, he will lay on my chest and we will both go back to sleep. He slept in until 8 this morning. He is such a sweet baby, when he's awake he just smiles and stares at things and is so quiet. He only cries when he's hungry or needs to be changed. Sometimes he will fuss if he has the hiccups or he wants him mommy to pick him up, He is definately a mama's boy <3 He is such a blessing to our family and we couldnt have a better baby to be blessed with.

Pumpkin Patch/ Fair- 1sts for Jack

Yesterday we went to the flea market, then afterwards we decided that we would go to the pumpkin patch. We went to Nivens Apple Farm and Pumpkin Patch! We went with Granny, Heather, Grover, Bentley, Stacy, Christine, and Dalton! It was Jack's 1st trip there. The boys had a blast seeing all the neat stuff there and playing. They also got to try fresh apple cider and they loved it! Today they got to go to the fair! This was also Jack's 1st trip. They got to see lots of animals and a petting zoo. They got to sit on a carriage (that pulls horses), they got to sit on ponies and take pictures, they rode alot of rides, and also saw a clown show. Grover and Bentley was with us too and the boys all had a blast riding together :) Love family time!

Happy Fall Everyone!!!

Well its already Fall! Cant believe it. This year has flown by so quickly. Everyone is doing well, the baby is already over a month old, 7 weeks to be exact. He's so precious and sweet. Still so tiny. We were breastfeeding and he cried alot, had bad gas and tummy aches, tons of spitting up, and developed a rash, turns out he has a cows milk protein allergy and thats what was preventing him from growing properly, now he is bottle fed a special formula and is doing so much better on it. At his 1 month check up he was 8lb and 20 inches (still was very small for his age), but at least he was gaining weight. He's wearing newborn clothes and newborn diapers still! He also has smiled at me for the first time last week and I was soooo happy! He is so precious and I enjoy every moment I can spend with him holding him close while he's still so little.
Gabe is now 21 months old! He is such a funny little boy who lights up a room with his smile and makes everybody laugh and love him! Gabe is about 26lbs. now and 32 inches tall. He is 24 mos clothes (even some 3T tops) and anywhere from a 2T to a 4T in pajamas! He wears a 7 in shoes. Nick Nick is doing well also. He is now 37lbs. and 41 inches tall! He is wearing a size 4 in pants and a 5T in tops. He is in a size 10 shoe. Connor is 46lbs. and 47 inches tall! He wears anywhere from a size 6/7-8 in tops, and a size 7 slim in pants and anywhere from a 1-2 in shoes. My boys are all growing so fast!

We went to Carowinds/Scarowinds on Sunday and the boys had a blast! They got to do lots of fun things like kiddie karaoke, haybale maze, mini pumpkin patch, costume parade, and of course they rode lots of rides too! They had so much fun! The boys are looking forward to Halloween and cant wait to get all that junkfood. lol. Well thats about all for now.

Baby Jack is here... and 2 weeks old already

Well everyone the baby is here and is now already 2 weeks old. I was scheduled to be induced on Tuesday August 23rd and had to be at the hospital by 5 am! I had been having strong irregular contractions since the 21st, but I laid down on the 22nd and they were hurting alot. I told myself I have to be at the hospital by 5 am, so I will just ride it out here at home until then. Around 2 am I got up and told myself I cant wait anymore so I took a quick shower and off to the hospital I went. When I got there the nurse said I had only had 1 contraction show up on the monitor so they would be in around 7 am to jumpstart things! I was in alot of pain though. Another nurse came in and decided to check me anyway and discovered I was right at 8 cm!!!! So she rushed to have my epidural put in. They got that started, then I got my water broken and before I knew it I was 10 cm. Well the epidural still wasnt working so they ordered me to have meds through the epidural thats for a woman having a c section! That nearly worked instantly and I started pushing and after only a few pushes at 5:36 am baby Hayden Jack entered this world! He wasnt breathing well and had alot of fluid in his lungs but the NICU team came down and suctioned him out really good and he turned out just fine! They brought my lil man to me and he was so precious with a headfull of black hair. He immediately wanted something to suck on so we gave him a pacifier and he loved it... (still does). Jack weighed in at 7lb. 5.6oz and was 19 inches long. When we left the hospital he was 6lb. 12 oz. And now at 2 weeks old he is 7lb. 5oz. so he is right back up to his birthweight now. He had a tiny bit of jaundice that also went away. He is a great nurser and eats about every 4 hrs. He hardly ever cries at all! He wakes once at night for a feed and goes right back to sleep. Gabe was a little jealous at first but now he is in love with his new baby brother! Speaking of the big boys, they have been sick. They all had something viral that caused high fevers and blisters all in their mouths which caused them to be in alot of pain and not be able to eat or drink. Gabe also had strep throat and scarlet fever. They all seem to be doing better now. I just wanted to let everyone know the baby is here and doing well.

Summer update

Well everyone Im a few months behind again but Im back! lol! We have been soooo busy with the kids getting out of school and preparing for baby Jack's arrival. He will be here anyday now. Just waiting on him to decide on when he is going to make his grand arrival! Well Connor did very well last school year and is going on to the 2nd grade in a few days! I cant believe my lil boy is already into the 2nd grade. At the end of 1st grade he got a reading award and a social studies award, he was soooo proud of himself and so was I. The boys have spent plenty of their summer swimming in the pool. They all absolutely love swimming! Connor also turned 7 years old on July 4th! He had a Cars 2 themed party and had a wonderful time. He got alot of new Cars 2 stuff. We had a big cookout and pool party on July 3rd and we went to Carowinds on July 4th. They loved all the fireworks. Dominick started speech therapy for his speech delay. He was suppose to be in it for a year, but after only 8 weeks, Dominick is all done! He has his last session tomorrow. His therapist said he is a very very smart little boy who is eager to learn and catches on very quickly. Im soooo proud of my boy :) In July Nancy and the girls came down and we were sooo happy to see them, since it had been so long. They stayed for 2 weeks and we spent alot of time together and Gabe got to bond with them some more. He really took up to Kayla. He got a cute little sock monkey with an arkansas razorback symbol on its tummy and some new clothes. They also threw me a baby shower where I got some cute and much needed things for baby Jack. Speaking of Gabe, He is getting so big now! He is 19 mos. old, he recently had a check up and was 26 lbs and 32 inches tall! He is talking in complete sentences and is just sooo funny and full of personality. I love that lil boy <3 Oh he is also nearly potty trained, we started only 5 days ago and he does soooo well. He may make about 1 accident a day but other than that he goes to his potty and keeps him big boy pull ups dry :) Again I am such a proud mama! We have been 5 days without a diaper now! We are still working on him using a cup though, he is getting better at it and not wanting his bottle as much but still has to have it sometimes. On a bad note, he has become clingy at night and is not wanting to sleep in his crib, so we hope to solve this problem soon. Connor also had a check up and he was 46 lbs and 47 inches. Still pretty small for his age but at least he's healthy. Ok well I think thats pretty much it for now but I'll be back soon for another update and it will be really soon. Im going to try and post several times per week but we'll see how time lets me :)

Its been too long... Huge update!

Well its been too long since I have updated here. The boys are all going to be big brothers again in August 2011!!! They are getting a baby brother named Hayden Jack! Im just going to update with some things we have been doing over the past few months:

Christmas 2010: The boys had a wonderful Christmas. They all had a blast and enjoyed their presents. Gabe wasnt really into opening his presents this year. we also got a white christmas too!!!

January 2011:

January was pretty uneventful, I had alot of sickness, but we did get a new puppy for the New Year, he is a lab named Chance. The boys love him! Gabe is walking around everywhere and growing like a weed. At his 12 month check up he was 21lb and 28 inches.

February 2011:

Again we didnt do too much or anything exciting. We have spent lots of time outside as the weather has actually been pretty warm for february. We spent Valentines Day at the park and the boys had a great time!

March 2011:

March we still spent alot of time outdoors. We went and spent St. Patricks Day with a picnic at the park which was alot of fun and the boys got to feed the ducks. We attended Christines Baby shower for baby Dalton and the kids had a blast. The boys welcomed their brand new baby cousin on March 31st. Chloe Alexis weighed 7lb. 10oz. and she is absolutely beautiful.

April 2011:

April was a fun month for us. Dominick had a scooby doo birthday party and turned 4 years old. Gabe had his 15 month check up and was 24 lbs. and 29 3/4 inches tall!!! He grew alot since his 12 month check up! Dominick also had his 4 year check up and he was 35 lbs. and 39 inches. Geez the boys are getting way too big! They boys also started going to Carowinds. We got season passes this year and they love it! Gabe had his very 1st icecream cone to eat all on his own and it was messy but he enjoyed it tons! The boys also found out that the new baby will be a boy! The boys have also been playing in the water table. They got to go skating which they really liked. It was Gabes first time there and he had a blast! They went on an Easter egg hunt and had an easter party at the church and the next day which was easter we had a huge family dinner and then the whole family had an easter egg hunt at the park. This was also Gabes very 1st time hunting easter eggs. Gabe is now wearing mostly 18 mos in clothes, some size 12 months still fit, a size 4 in diaper and a size 5-6 in shoes!

May 2011:

May has been a wonderful warm pretty month for the most part. The boys welcomed their brand new baby cousin Dalton Alexander into the world on May 6th. He was 8lb 6oz. Very handsome little man! We had a wonderful mothers day complete with a cookout and the kids playing in the little kiddie pool. Baby Gabe got a potty seat because he is showing interest in potty training. He is sooo handsome sitting on his little potty :) Thats about all for now, if I missed anything I cant help it. lol. But I promise to keep up with this better.
